| Shawn McLaughlin studied psychology, creative writing, radio & television, film-making, and photography in college, has been employed as an administrator and consultant in law, politics, education, real estate, finance, and temporary staffing, and currently provides contract computer consulting and design services. He is an avid book collector with interests covering a wide range of disciplines — biology; medicine; geosciences; linguistics; anthropology; archaeology; astronomy; astronautics; law; civil liberties; criminology (and in particular predatory violence in our society); abnormal psychology; forensics; religion; sociology; literature; art; and photography.
